| Special Educator (CWSN) – Primary (Class 1–5) | Special Educators working on contract/deputation at the primary level are eligible if they have Graduation + RCI-recognised D.Ed. Special Education or equivalent qualification. An active CRR number and RCI registration certificate are also required. |
| Special Educator (CWSN) – Upper Primary (Class 6–8) | Special Educators working on contract/deputation at the upper-primary level are eligible if they have Graduation + RCI-recognised B.Ed. The Special TET written examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. The total examination time will be 150 minutes, and there will be no negative marking.
